" I BELONG"
That's the theme of this year's PTSA Reflections Art Program.
Calling on teachers to encourage students to participate in this year's Reflections Art Program.
Students can create original works of art with their interpretation of the theme "I Belong" in any of the following art categories:
The Reflections Art Program has been bringing the arts to life for more than 10 million students since 1969.
Reflections encourages students of all ages to:

Unleash creative talents and be inspired
-
Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork
-
Experience the fun and joy of making art
-
Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme

Receive positive recognition for their original works of art.
Diablo Vista Middle School students are invited to participate and submit original artwork in one of six areas:
Student artwork will be showcased, recognized and celebrated at DVMS. Students have a chance to win many prizes! Artwork will be judged by five grade-level divisions, the Special Artists division celebrates student artists with special needs.
Winning entries will be sent on to be judged at district, council, and state level where they are considered for Outstanding Interpretation, Awards of Excellence or Merit. These entries then go on to represent California in the final National PTA judging round.

We have officially announced the WINNERS at COUNCIL and DISTRICT LEVEL. One of our students, TANISI MANDAL (8th Grade) will be moving on to STATE LEVEL for her photography! Congratulations Tanisi Mandal, it has been a joy to watch your growth as an artist, and the latest photography piece is a testament to your dedication. Way to represent DVMS!
