Incoming 7th and 8th grade Course Selection
Dear DVMS Families,
We are excited to announce that the course selection process for the 2026-2027 school year is about to begin! This is for our current DVMS 6th and 7th graders to complete. It is an important time for students as they plan their academic journey for the upcoming year.
The course selection window in Infinite Campus will open on February 2nd and close on February 9th. During this time, you and your student will have the opportunity to review available courses and make selections that best fit their goals and interests. Students must request 2 electives and 3 alternate electives. The required classes have already been loaded as well as your student’s next level math class. If your student plans to advance in math over the summer, counselors will later edit the math class once confirmation of program completion is received. Special Electives (Leadership, Broadcast Journalism, Yearbook and Unified PE) will require students to sign up for 1 of 3 E+T’s available on January 28, 30, and Feb 4th. Attending one of the E+T sessions will be mandatory for those wanting to participate in Leadership, Yearbook, Unified PE, and Broadcast Journalism.
