Volunteer in our Library

I'm looking for parent/caregiver volunteers to lend a hand in our library. I’m flexible with schedules and could use help with tasks like shelving books, wrapping new titles, managing holds, and more. Whether you have a little time or a lot, your support would make a big difference! Interested? Please reach out to get started.

Support the Library

Help our library grow by purchasing items from our Amazon Wishlist or donating through DonorsChoose. Every contribution makes a difference for our students!

Books in our Library

Our library offers a range of books from middle grade to young adult. Students learn how to identify young adult titles and are guided in selecting books that match their maturity, values, reading level, and interests. I encourage students to have conversations with their families about their reading choices.

Check out the graphic below to learn more about young adult books in our library, and if you have any questions about a particular book, please don't hesistate to reach out.

About Ms. Dowd

As a teacher librarian, I am here to support all students by teaching lessons, equipping students with tools to evaluate and access information, promoting literacy, managing the library collection, and more. But, one of my favorite parts of my job is getting to read and talk about books! Outside of school, I love reading (of course!), watching Netflix (if you have any shows to recommend, please let me know), going to my husband's family cabin near Lake Don Pedro, and shopping!
