PTA has a proud history of advocating for programs and legislation that help students stay safe, healthy, and successful. This page will be updated throughout the school year as opportunties for DVMS families to get involved become available.
Yes on Measure Q: Quality Schools without Increasing Taxes
DVMS PTSA Supports Measure Q. The San Ramon Valley Unified School District has a long tradition of providing high-quality education. One of the highest-performing school districts in the nation, SRVUSD had more National Blue Ribbon schools this past year than any other district in the state or nation. Excellent schools improve our community's quality of life and protect our homes' value. However, San Ramon Valley schools are losing multiple funding sources.
- Measure Q, on the November 5, 2024 ballot, will provide the stable, locally controlled funding needed to maintain excellent teaching and high-quality academics in local schools.
- Measure Q would renew an expiring local funding source at the current rate, with no tax increase.
- Measure Q is essential to maintaining high student achievement and ensuring that our San Ramon Valley schools remain among the highest performing in the nation.
