DVMS PTSA's annual walkathon fundraiser is scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2026.
This is a spring tradition at DVMS! This annual event, attended by all students and staff, celebrates the end of CAASPP testing, recognizes a year of hard work in the classroom by students and teachers, and is one of the first events in a series of end-of-academic-year activities. Students run/walk laps, play dodgeball tournaments, eat delicious food, enjoy music, and play games in the courtyard. The funds received through donations and sponsorships support DVMS Technology. This year the goal is to help DVMS upgrade and replace outdated equipment in the classrooms.

*** A donation is not required (ALL students can participate on May 15 as long as they have a completed PTSA Participation Waiver on file).
Volunteer: We need approximately 40 parent volunteers to pull off this FUN school-wide event. Please review theSignUpGenius to see where you can volunteer to help. Remember, all on-campus volunteers MUST be cleared throughBe A Mentor no later than May 9th.
Sponsors: Own a business or know someone who does? Please consider sponsoring our upcoming technology fundraiser, Trek-for-Tech! Your sponsorship will be directly contributing to much needed classroom technology upgrades and your business will be recognized in numerous ways over the coming months to the families of our 850 students! If you know of any business leads our sponsorship team should share this opportunity with, please send their contact information to trekfortech@dvmsptsa.org.
T-shirt pickup for students that donate at least $30 will take place on campus on May 11th and 12th. If you can help pass out shirts one of these days, please sign up here! Additional details will be shared next week.

SPONSORSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE here and go a long way in helping us reach our fundraising goal!
- Bronze Sponsor ($60): Your donation is recognized in our bi-weekly school newsletter for a month. Includes 1 event t-shirt.
- Silver Sponsor ($125): Bronze level recognition + your family or business name printed on the back of the Trek for Tech t-shirt! Must order by Apr 3rd to print on the shirt.
- Gold Sponsor ($250): Silver level recognition + your family or business name will be displayed on the Trek for Tech “Thank You Sponsors” banner displayed prominently in front of school.
- Platinum Sponsor ($500): Gold level recognition + your family or business name and link will be acknowledged on the PTSA website through Spring 2027.
